Vulva Hygiene

• Vulva hygiene (vaginal toilet) is a treatment that functions to clean the vagina optimally so as to minimize the risk of venereal disease. This treatment is only for women who are sexually active.
• It is recommended that a vaginal toilet be performed at least once a year, before a Pap smear is performed.
