MMR vaccine

• The MR vaccine (measles and rubella vaccine) is given to prevent disease caused by the measles and rubella viruses (German measles). As is known, measles and rubella are infectious diseases caused by viruses. Transmission of these two diseases is usually through the respiratory tract, especially from direct contact with infected sufferers through coughing or sneezing.
