Check Thyroid Hormones

• Checking thyroid hormones includes: checking TT3, TT4 and TSH
• TT3 is a test carried out to assess the levels of the hormone T3 or triiodothyronine in the blood.
• TT4 is an examination using a blood sample taken from a vein in the arm to measure the concentration of thyroxine (T4) in free form (not bound to protein) in the blood. Thyroxine (T4) is one of the two main hormones produced by the thyroid gland
• TSH Test is a laboratory examination (TSHs & Thyroid Hormone). TSHs examination is a thyroid examination using a blood sample taken from a vein in the arm to measure the concentration of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) in the blood
