Transvaginal ultrasound

• Transvaginal ultrasound is an examination that uses sound waves to examine the internal female reproductive organs such as the uterus, cervix, vagina and ovaries.
• The tool used during a transvaginal ultrasound examination is a probe stick that is inserted about 5-7 cm into the vagina
• Depending on the patient's condition, the Transvaginal Ultrasound procedure can take around 30-60 minutes.
